About the doctor

The idea is simple: if you are unwell away from home, you should be able to speak clearly with a doctor without losing the day in a waiting room.

10+ years of experience

Primary care and emergency medicine

Spain and Ireland

I'm an Argentine-born, Barcelona-based Family Medicine specialist with over 10 years of experience in primary care and emergency medicine across Spain and Ireland.

I know what it's like to be sick far from home — not speaking the language, not knowing where to go. I built this service because I've seen it happen too many times: a tourist spending four hours in A&E for something that could have been sorted in 15 minutes.

That's also why I run this as a solo practice — no clinic chain, no corporation, no anonymous doctors rotating between patients. When you book, you talk directly to me, the same doctor who will treat you.

I trained in Buenos Aires, specialised in Barcelona, and have worked in both the Spanish and Irish healthcare systems, with thousands of patient consultations along the way. I'm registered in both countries and authorised for private prescription across all of Spain.

  • 🇬🇧 Hypertension medication

I realised mid-trip that I didn't have enough blood pressure medication to last the rest of my holiday in Málaga. I was worried about missing doses. The doctor sorted it out quickly and sent the prescription straight to my email. I picked it up at a local pharmacy without any issues.

  • 🇺🇸 Tonsillitis

My 11-year-old son developed a high fever and severe tonsillitis that wasn't improving with ibuprofen. We were in Barcelona and the emergency waiting times were enormous. The doctor assessed him online, decided antibiotics were necessary and sent the prescription immediately. We avoided a long stressful wait at A&E and didn't lose a single day of our holiday.

  • 🇳🇱 Medical certificate

I work for a Dutch company and came down with a stomach bug while travelling in Madrid. I needed a sick note and some advice on what to take. The doctor provided both in one consultation — clear, efficient and exactly what I needed.

  • 🇦🇷 Urinary tract infection

I started getting the usual symptoms of a urinary infection — something that happens to me from time to time. I was in Valencia and the idea of spending hours in a packed emergency room was not appealing. I needed an antibiotic to recover. The prescription arrived in my email and the pharmacy dispensed it without any problem.

  • 🇦🇺 Mosquito allergic reaction

I react very badly to mosquito bites and got bitten all over during my first night in a rural village in Las Alpujarras. Finding any doctor out there, let alone one who spoke English, would have been nearly impossible. The doctor prescribed a cream and antihistamines and within less than a day everything was under control.

  • 🇫🇷 Conjunctivitis

My eye had been red and discharging for two days. I was in Sevilla and didn't want to waste a morning navigating a packed walk-in clinic. The doctor assessed me by video, ruled out anything serious and sent the prescription for eye drops directly to my email. Reassuring and back to enjoying my trip the same afternoon.

  • 🇯🇵 Gastroenteritis

I woke up in my accommodation in Mallorca with vomiting and diarrhoea and couldn't leave the room. The emergency services in tourist areas in August are completely overwhelmed. The doctor gave me a clear rehydration plan and the right medication. I was back on my feet the next day.

  • 🇩🇪 Migraine

I was travelling in San Sebastián when a migraine hit and I had run out of my usual medication. Finding a local doctor mid-trip would have meant losing half a day and sitting in a waiting room for hours. The prescription was renewed in one call and I was able to pick it up at a nearby pharmacy and carry on with my day.
