When you need this service
This is for people who need a non-controlled medication and either ran out, forgot it at home, or need an ongoing treatment renewed. Common examples include antihypertensives, statins, prostate medication and common antidepressants. Weight-loss injectables (e.g. GLP-1) can be continued when supported by a current prescription. New treatments are not started without a relevant medical history.
How it works
From request to pharmacy in three simple steps:
- Tell the doctor what you need in the pre-consultation form.
- Have a short video or WhatsApp consultation (€55).
- Receive your REMPE prescription PDF by email and collect at any pharmacy in Spain.
What you get — and the limits
A private electronic prescription valid across all of Spain, issued only where it is clinically appropriate. Paying for the consultation does not guarantee a prescription: if it is not clinically justified, the doctor will explain why. Please note that controlled medication — opioids (including tramadol and codeine), benzodiazepines, sleeping pills and stimulants — cannot be prescribed online.
